You should always use it as advised by your doctor but to get the full benefit you should take it regularly. It may take a few days for the spray to take full effect. If you don’t see an improvement in your symptoms after a week you should talk to your doctor.

The most common side effects of CINASE NASAL SPRAY include nasal irritation and sneezing. Talk to your doctor if you are worried about side effects or they do not go away. Using corticosteroids like CINASE NASAL SPRAY may make you more susceptible to viral infections, so you should stay away from people who have these infections. In general, you should try to avoid situations which make your symptoms worse (things like pollen and dust mites) and it is best not to smoke.

How to use Cinase Nasal Spray

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

  • The right way to use the nasal spray:
    • Shake the bottle before using the medicine. 
    • Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine.
    • Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. 
    • Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. 
    • Breathe out gently through your mouth and repeat the same process for the other nostril.
  • Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective.
  • Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs.
  • CINASE NASAL SPRAY should be avoided in patients with recent nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
  • CINASE NASAL SPRAY ‘dampens down’ inflammation in the lungs to provide long-term (maintenance) treatment of asthma and prevent disease progression.
  • CINASE NASAL SPRAY will not work for an ongoing asthma attack. Use your rescue inhaler to control sudden difficulty in breathing.
  • Learn the correct technique of using metered dose inhalers (MDI) and dry powder inhalers (DPI) to ensure that the right amount of medication reaches your lungs, and side effects are minimized.
  • Gargle with warm water after each inhalation to avoid any fungal infections in your mouth and throat.
  • Take it at the same time every day to prevent asthma attacks.
  • Do not open and close the cover unnecessarily as you will lose the medicine.
  • Never breathe out into the mouthpiece.
  • Only minuscule amounts of CINASE NASAL SPRAY may get absorbed into the bloodstream after inhalation. Hence, serious side effects such as weight gain are unlikely.
