Himost Cream

Himost Cream is primarily formed of Light Liquid Paraffin, White soft paraffin and emulsifying wax. The cream is recommended for the prevention and relief of dry skin due to aging, exposure to sun and infantile eczema.

Role of Key ingredients:
Paraffin serves as a skin lubricant that does not allow loss of water from the skin surface.
White soft paraffin and liquid paraffin together is used as a barrier cream. It hydrates, soothes and smoothens the skin. On persistent use the skin is able to retain the moisture and thereby restore its flexibility. Additionally, the cream can be used for protection of raw skin, as a pre-bathing emollient and lubrication in dry conditions.
Emulsifying wax serves as an ideal medium that blends the oil and water as one in a cream, lotion or solution. The emulsifying agent effectively binds to the water and oil both imparting emollient property to the cream.
