Lacticent Powder contains Lactitol Monohydrate - 10 g and Ispaghula Husk - 3.5 g.
Role of key ingredients:
Lactitol monohydrate is used to treat constipation. In the colon it is broken down to short chain organic acids and acidify, this results in an increase in osmotic pressure in the colon, thereby causing an increase in the stool water content and stool volume which explains the laxative effect.
Isabgol or Psyllium seed husks is used to treat constipation. It holds the water in the stool, soften the stool and increases the bowel movements. It is also used to treat diarrhea, helps in improving digestion and helps in relieving acidity.
Lacticent Powder is used as an laxative to treat chronic constipation.
Directions of use:
Take Lacticent Powder orally.
Use under medical supervision.
