MaxioCel 100% Chitosan Wound Dressing is a soft, sterile, single-use absorbent microfibre wound dressing used for absorption of wound exudate and control of minor bleeding. It transforms into a gel when in contact with wound exudate. MaxioCel helps maintain a moist environment for optimal wound healing and easy to remove. MaxioCel can be kept on the wound site for up to 7 days.

Uses:
It is made from 100% natural biopolymer which is used for treating pressure sores and help in absorption of wound exudate and control of minor bleeding.

Product Specifications and Features:

• Helps in treating pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, skin abrasions, burns and surgical wounds

• Provides help in cavity wounds, venous leg ulcer, donor site, superficial and partial thickness burns, surgical or post-operative wounds and hemostasis post debridement

Directions For Use:

• Always follow aseptic techniques while dressing a wound

• Irrigate and clean the wound site

• Peel open MaxioCel pouch and cut, fold or layer the dressing to fit the wound

• Cover and secure with as appropriate secondary dressing

• To remove, irrigate with saline/water and gently peel it off

• Remove slowly and discard dressing
