Information about Plate Aid Capsule
Plate-aid capsule is an Ayurvedic formulation. Plate-aid contains Carica papaya extract.
Carica papaya extract contains the enzyme papain. Papaya leaf is used to increase low blood platelets count in Dengue fever and Chikungunya. Low platelet count, means that the blood possesses too few thrombocytes or specialized blood cells called platelets that help to aid in blood clotting.
Usage:
In Dengue, Malaria, Cancer chemotherapy patients, Post-viral infections in immunocompromised patients.
Dosages:
For Platelet count for Above 50,000 - 2 Caps once daily
For Less than 50,000- 2 Caps twice daily.
Therapy duration: 5-10 days in Dengue/Malaria/Viral Infection 15-30 days Immune Thrombocytopenia.
Side Effects:
Weakness, fatigue, sleepiness, headache, loss of appetite, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting.
As directed by the Physician.
Use under Medical supervision.
