SYSTEMIC SULPHONAMIDES EXCLUDING TRIMETHOPRIM COMBINATIONS
These are a group of antibiotics that are effective against various bacterial infections. These antibiotics are commonly known as sulfa drugs. They work by stopping the growth of bacteria and are effective against infections of lungs (e.g. pneumonia, bronchitis), ear, urinary tract, and stomach.
