Aftron Tablet

Aftron Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit. Continue taking it as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, do not take it more than or longer than prescribed by the doctor, as that may cause harmful effects. In addition to taking the medicine, including iron-rich foods like spinach, beans, peas, organ meats like liver, etc. in your diet can help.

It is generally safe medicine with little or no side effects. However, If you experience any symptoms on taking this medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or treat the side effects.

Aftron Tablet is a combination of three medicines : L-Methyl Folate, Methylcobalamin, and Iron. L-methylfolate is the primary biologically active isomer of folic acid and the primary form of folate in circulation. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby's brain and spinal cord. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Iron is vital for the formation of new red blood cells and hemoglobin, a substance that gives these cells the ability to transport oxygen.
