Akceron-OD Capsule

Akceron-OD Capsule may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. To get the most benefit, take it regularly at the same time each day and continue taking it until your prescription is finished. Do not take it more than or longer than prescribed by the doctor, as that may cause harmful effects.

It is generally safe medicine with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptom which you think is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

Before taking this medicine, it is important to let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions or if you are taking any other medications. Akceron-OD Capsule is a combination of seven medicines : Methylcobalamin, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Folic Acid, Benfotiamine, Biotin, and Chromium Picolinate. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Alpha lipoic acid acts as a potent antioxidant (substance that protects against cell damage) by neutralizing the free radicals (waste products formed in the body during energy production) such as reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. Further, it initiates natural antioxidant processes in the body. It also maintains the levels of Vitamin E and Vitamin C in the body. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a nutritional supplement that possesses anti-nausea properties and helps in proper functioning of nerves. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body.
