Product introduction

Allerkit Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, nervousness, insomnia, and restlessness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.


Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Allerkit Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

Allerkit Tablet is a combination medicine that effectively relieves symptoms of the common cold, such as a blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier.

Allerkit Tablet is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
  • Along with taking Allerkit Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
    1. Steam inhalation.
    2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
    3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
    4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
    5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcase, etc.
