Gastrointestinal disturbances like vomiting, nausea and abdominal pain and are common side effects of this medicine. If your symptoms have become worse, consult your doctor who may reduce the dosage or discontinue the medicine based on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor.
Yes, this medicine can reduce the number of platelets in your body. It is more common in patients receiving prolonged therapy. If your platelet count falls below 150,000/mm3, then your doctor might reduce the dosage of your medicine till counts have either stabilized or returned to pretreatment levels. Pre-drug platelet counts and frequent platelet counts during therapy are recommended to assist in decisions regarding dosage modifications.
It is advisable not to take furosemide along with Amicor 100mg Injection. This is because furosemide may increase the excretion rate of Amicor 100mg Injection which could result in reduced the level of the medicine in the body and thus a reduction in efficacy. Consult your doctor who could advise you more on this.
This medicine does not have any effect on fertility, in both males and females.
