ARBITACE 25MG TABLET should be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Keeping active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.
Nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, and taste change are some common side effects. Regular monitoring of kidney function, electrolytes and blood pressure is important while using this medicine. This medicine may cause increase in potassium levels (hyperkalemia) and severe allergic swelling of face, mouth, and tongue (angioedema). Hence, avoid taking potassium rich food or supplements.

Hypertension is clinically high blood pressure. Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.
