Baloxin 100mg Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia). It kills the infection causing microorganisms and cures the infection.

Baloxin 100mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.
You may have allergic reactions, altered liver function tests, stomach pain and nausea as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools.
