Calcimax ISO Capsule may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.
This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, it may cause constipation in some people. If you experience severe diarrhea or vomiting on taking the medicine, consult your doctor without delay.

How Calcimax Capsule works
Calcimax ISO Capsule is a combination of three medicines. Calcium Carbonate is a synthetic Vitamin D that regulates the absorption of calcium in the body and strengthens the bones. Calcitriol is a dietary supplement to correct calcium deficiency. It works to promote healthy bones, muscles, nervous system, and heart. Soya Isoflavones is a phytoestrogen. It improves the heart’s health and strengthens bones in post-menopausal (cessation of periods) women.
Quick tips
- Calcimax ISO Capsule is used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
- It is recommended that you take Calcimax ISO Capsule at bedtime, preferably at least 2 hours after dinner. You may lie down immediately after taking it if you wish.
- If you take antacids (medicines to relieve heartburn) or medicines containing calcium you should take them at least 2 hours after taking Calcimax ISO Capsule to avoid interference.
- Inform your doctor if you have or have had a blood clot, heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, or if you have had surgery on the arteries of your legs.
