Canfree Ear Drop is a medicine that belongs to a class of medicines known as antifungal medicines. It is used in the treatment of fungal ear infections. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane and thus cures the infections.
Canfree Ear Drop should not be used for more than 7 days, unless your doctor tells you to. The prolonged use of Canfree Ear Drop may cause the fungal infection to become resistant to the effect of the medicine. However, if you have been having the infection for more than 6 months, inform your doctor. You may need to change the dose or probably take a different or more efficient medicine.
Canfree Ear Drop works by killing the fungi causing the infection by destroying its cell membrane. This helps to relieve the symptoms such as pain, redness, itching or soreness, thereby treating the infection.
Canfree Ear Drop starts working as early as within 3 days. The itching and discharge (if any) are the first ones to get better. Whereas, pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, as long as 7 days. But, if it takes longer or if your symptoms do not subside or get worse, consult your doctor immediately.
If you have missed a dose of Canfree Ear Drop, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
Use of Canfree Ear Drop should be avoided in patients who are allergic to Canfree Ear Drop or any of its components. However, if you are not aware of any allergy or if you are using Canfree Ear Drop for the first time, consult your doctor.
