- Cataford Eye Drop is used to provide your body with extra water and electrolytes (salt). It is used when a patient is not able to drink enough liquids or when additional fluids are needed after any surgery or trauma.
- It should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, hypokalemia (low potassium), peripheral edema (swelling in the arms, feet, or legs), or pulmonary edema (when fluids build up in the lungs).
- Your blood sugar level will be monitored regularly while taking Cataford Eye Drop.
- Cataford Eye Drop is for ophthalmic use only.
- Do not use it unless the product is clear, the seal is intact and the container is undamaged.
- Do not use it if the product is discolored or contains a precipitate.
- The contents of Cataford Eye Drop should not be used in more than one patient.
