Use Cofloxin Eye Drop exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Usually, you will need to put one drop into the affected eye several times a day, depending on your specific condition. Make sure to wash your hands before and after using the drops. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to your eye or any surface, as this can contaminate the medicine. Keep using the drops for the full course of treatment, even if you start to feel better, to ensure the infection is completely cleared.

Some people may experience mild side effects like stinging or burning in the eye after applying the drops. These effects usually go away on their own after a few minutes. If you notice more serious side effects like severe eye pain, vision changes, or signs of an allergic reaction (such as rash or swelling), stop using the drops and contact your doctor right away.

While using Cofloxin Eye Drop, avoid wearing contact lenses, especially if your eye is still red or irritated. • You have been prescribed Cofloxin Eye Drop for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye.
• Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
• Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the medication.
• Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contamination.
• Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
• It may cause short-term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines.
• Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up.
