Cold Care A Syrup may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Try to take it at the same time each day. Using this medicine may cause some common side effects such as increased heart rate, palpitations, nausea, shortness of breath, vomiting, and abdominal distension. These side effects aren't often dangerous and they should gradually improve as your body gets used to this medicine. There are other, rarer, side effects and you should call your doctor straight away if you get chest pain, a very bad headache, or very bad dizziness.

How Cold Care A Syrup works

Cold Care A Syrup is a combination of four medicines : Terbutaline, Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, and Levomenthol. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier. Ambroxol is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin works by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Levomenthol has mild cooling and decongestant properties that help soothe the cough and ease congestion in the lungs.

  • Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
  • Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
