Dandrid Lotion should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. It is for external use only.

Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include burning, itching, irritation and redness at the application site.

Dandrid Lotion is a combination of four medicines: Menthol, Miconazole, Tinidazole and Zinc Sulfate which treat dandruff. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the scalp. Miconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Zinc Sulfate is an antiseptic.
