Decashine Cream

Decashine Cream may be used alone or with other acne treatments. You should use it as per your doctor's advice. The leaflet that comes with the product will also give instructions which you should read to get the most out of this medicine. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. You should not apply it to damaged or broken skin and avoid contact with your mouth, eyes, and nose.

It may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. It may also cause dry skin in some people. These are not usually serious and fade away with time. However, if they bother you or do not go away with time, tell your doctor.

You should tell your doctor if you have any other skin conditions or if you are taking any other medicines, especially those applied to the skin. It may not be suitable if you have very sensitive skin. Ask your doctor about using this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Decashine Cream is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone, Clindamycin, and Nicotinamide. Betamethasone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Clindamycin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading. Nicotinamide is a form of vitamin B that provides essential nutrients.
