Dermi 5 + Cream

Dermi 5 + Cream is only for external use. Use it in the exact dose and duration advised by the doctor. Apply it only on the affected areas of the skin. In case of accidental exposure to the eyes or mouth, wash it off with plenty of water. Do not stop using it even if your infection gets better until the doctor says so. The course of treatment should be completed for better efficacy.
Dermi 5 + Cream may cause a few side effects such as itchiness, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. In case of any allergic reactions, it is advised to call for immediate medical help. To make sure the medicine is safe for you, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let your doctor also know if you are applying any other topical medications or on any medicine for any medical conditions.

Dermi 5 + Cream is a combination of four medicines: Clobetasol, Gentamicin, Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin), and Ketoconazole. Clobetasol is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Gentamicin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ketoconazole and Clioquinol are antifungal medicines. Ketoconazole kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection. Clioquinol acts by interacting with DNA synthesis thus killing the fungi that are responsible for causing the infection.
