Digoxi Injection is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.

Symptoms of Digoxi Injection overdose include slow heartbeat, dizziness, lightheadedness and breathing problems.

Regular monitoring of kidney function tests, potassium, magnesium and calcium levels is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Digoxi Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Digoxi Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
