Doxinate XT Tablet has all active forms of vitamins which help in preventing neural tube defects, pregnancy-related anemia and associated complications of pregnancy due to elevated homocysteine levels. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Check the label before use.
The most common side effects of this medicine include dryness in the mouth, constipation, lightheadedness, and drowsiness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.
Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine or have any known allergy from this medicine. If you have symptoms such as nausea or vomiting or any other symptoms which you think can be due to this medicine, please consult your doctor. How Doxinate XT Tablet works
Doxinate XT Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Doxylamine, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin which treat nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin provide essential nutrients.

- Doxinate XT Tablet helps treat nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.
- Do not take Doxinate XT Tablet with other sedating medications such as those for cough and cold as the combination could worsen dizziness leading to falls or other accidents.
- Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated during exercise and in hot weather. This is because Doxinate XT Tablet can decrease sweating and you may be more prone to heat stroke.
