Exdafil 5 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. The medicine will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. Take it about 30 minutes to one hour before you plan to have sex. Only take it if you need it and it has been prescribed to you by a doctor.

Common side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, muscle and back pain, and vision disturbances. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects do not go away on their own or bother you. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or treat the side effects.

Do not use Exdafil 5 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine. Consult a doctor before using if you have a history of heart problems, high or low blood pressure, liver or kidney issues, or if you are taking any other medications. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase certain side effects. Do not take Exdafil 5 Tablet with other erectile dysfunction medications without consulting your doctor. This medicine is not intended for use by women or individuals under the age of 18 years.

Treatment of Erectile dysfunction
Exdafil 5 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. In addition to treating erectile dysfunction, it improves sexual performance and satisfaction. However, do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia
Exdafil 5 Tablet, which is commonly used for treating erectile dysfunction, is also beneficial in managing benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It helps by relaxing the smooth muscles in the bladder and prostate, which reduces urinary symptoms associated with BPH such as frequent urination, urgency, and difficulty starting urination. By improving blood flow to the prostate and bladder, tadalafil can ease the pressure on the urethra, facilitating better urinary flow. This alleviates the discomfort and inconvenience caused by BPH and enhances the quality of life for affected individuals.

How Exdafil Tablet works

Tadalafil belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penile region, which increases blood flow upon sexual stimulation, thus facilitating an erection. In cases of BPH, it relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder.

Quick tips

You have been prescribed Exdafil 5 Tablet for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But, you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
Do not take it more than once a day.
It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
Do not use Exdafil 5 Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain), if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months, or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
