Product introduction

GinkoD3-PVB Tablet can be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should not be consumed more than the recommended dose.

Some common side effects include headache, nervousness, fatigue, and stomach upset. These are usually well tolerated but if these side effects persist for a long time, please consult your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions like swelling, itching, difficulty in breathing, hives, etc.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to consume alcohol after taking this medicine.

Meniere's disease
Ménière’s disease is a disorder of the inner ear that causes severe dizziness (vertigo), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, and a feeling of congestion in the ear. This is due to build-up of fluid in the inner ear. GinkoD3-PVB Tablet reduces the amount of fluid and prevents symptoms from developing. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use GinkoD3-PVB Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. GinkoD3-PVB Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How GinkoD3-PVB Tablet works

GinkoD3-PVB Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Betahistine, Vitamin D3, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine improves blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear. Vitamin D3 is added as it's deficiency may be a cause of Miniere's disease. Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine increase blood flow to the brain and protect it from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Piracetam works by further protecting the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.

Frequently asked questions

Keep this medicine in the packet or the container it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
GinkoD3-PVB Tablet may cause indigestion. Take it with or after food to avoid Indigestion. Talk to your doctor if you are suffering from regular indigestion.
Visit the nearest emergency department if you accidentally take too much of this medicine. Symptoms of taking too much of GinkoD3-PVB Tablet may include tiredness, pupil dilation, inability to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, fast heart rate, sweating, headache, dizziness, and shakiness.
You should not stop taking GinkoD3-PVB Tablet until your doctor informs you to stop it. If you stop taking GinkoD3-PVB Tablet earlier than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).

Dear sir with homeopathy this can be managed well but as this is a chronic case you need to visit a doctor and take treatment under supervision

I am suffering from Meniere's disease since 2004. Several medicines in homeopathic, allopathy and ayurvedic tried but no benefit. With the allotpathy medicines from neurologist, I am able to manage my daily life. At present I am taking (i) Cognix Plus and (ii) Nexito 10mg daily without gap. If I discontinued medicines in the past, the problem came back and I started feeling guidiness and trepidation/ nervousness. Please advice me certain maintenance dose in homeopathy so that I may discontinue allopathic medicines which is showing now side affects. One of the side affects, now I have thyroid and taking one table of Thyrox 50mg daily. Moreover, I feel drowsiness and memory is also weak.
