Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include thinning of the skin, dry skin, burning, irritation, itchiness, and redness at the application site.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Hevobet-S Lotion helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Hevobet-S Lotion. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

Eczema
Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Hevobet-S Lotion moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

Side effects of Hevobet-S Lotion

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How Hevobet-S Lotion works

Hevobet-S Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Halobetasol and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Halobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Halobetasol into the skin.

Hevobet-S Lotion is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
After you have applied Hevobet-S Lotion, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).
Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.
Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
