Product introduction

Hexaxim Vaccine is administered by injection to infants and toddlers starting from the age of 6 weeks. It is usually given at  6, 10, and 14 weeks followed by a booster dose in the second year of life. If the child does not get all the doses, he/she will not be fully protected against the virus. Make sure the child turns up for all the doses. It should be given by a doctor or nurse, who will make sure you get the right amount. Do not try to administer this medicine at home by yourself.

The most common side effects of this vaccine include injection site reactions (such as pain, tenderness, swelling, and redness), fever, irritability, sleepiness, diarrhea, and vomiting. However, these are usually mild and resolve with time. Consult the doctor if they are bothering you or do not go away. Before injecting this vaccine, tell the doctor if the child has any other medical conditions or is on any medications. This will make sure the safety of the child.

Hexaxim Vaccine gives protection against this infection. It helps the immune system to produce antibodies to fight against the disease. Prevention of Hepatitis B infection
Hexaxim Vaccine is given to protect against infection by the hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis B is an infection of the liver caused by a virus. It can be spread from a mother to her newborn baby. Hexaxim Vaccine is given by an injection into a muscle as soon as possible after exposure to risk and will help prevent infection. This medicine does not work if you already have hepatitis B.
