Highmag 200mg Tablet should be taken in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor and it is taken by mouth after meals preferably at bedtime. In case you have missed a dose take it as soon as you remember it and try to finish the full course of treatment. You should not take any medicine along with it as this may interact with other medications. Remember you should avoid this medicine, if you shows signs of appendicitis or inflamed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea, vomiting). It is important before taking this medicine to consult doctor if you are suffering from any severe stomach or kidney disease.
It is an effective medicine with very little or no side effects however it may cause vomiting sometimes. It may also cause constipation or diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine.
