Product introduction

You should always use Isomet-M Nasal Spray as advised by your doctor. To get the full benefit of the medicine you should take it regularly. Blow your nose gently before using it, keep one nostril closed while applying the medicine into the other, and then sniff hard to make sure it reaches deep into the nose. Repeat for the other nostril.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nasal irritation, sore throat, wheezing, nosebleed, upper respiratory tract infection, viral infections, and vomiting. If you are worried about any of the side effects, let your doctor know. Your doctor might be able to help you cope with the side effects. In general, you should try to avoid situations which make your symptoms worse (things like pollen and dust mites) and it’s best not to smoke.

Before using this medicine, you should ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is important to discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Let your doctor also know if you have any other medical conditions taking any other medicines.

Isomet-M Nasal Spray is used to relieve symptoms that may occur with hay fever or other allergies, including stuffiness (congestion) in the nose, discharge, itching and sneezing.
If you forget a dose of Isomet-M Nasal Spray, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, use it in the regular schedule instead of taking the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
Isomet-M Nasal Spray is neither an antifungal nor an antibiotic. It is a corticosteroid which is used to reduce inflammation (redness, swelling) in various conditions.
Isomet-M Nasal Spray is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop using it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Isomet-M Nasal Spray too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
You should use Isomet-M Nasal Spray as advised by your doctor, especially in children. Using more than the prescribed dose or even extending the duration of treatment may cause hormonal imbalance in your child. As a result, the child may develop puffiness or rounding of face and there could be delay in growth and development. Therefore, consult the doctor before trying any dose adjustments.
