Product introduction
Lacosam Injection is given under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse. It should not be self-administered at home. Get the injection regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases, so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems, before starting your treatment with this medicine.
The use of this medicine may cause some common side effects like headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Additionally, you may notice some injection site reactions like redness or swelling. Please consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.
