How Maxydoq Cream works
Maxydoq Cream is a combination of four medications. Urea provides hydration to smoothen skin's texture, and helps to reduce the buildup of dead skin cells. Lactic acid removes old, dull cells on the skin's surface. Propylene glycol has humectant properties. It also works as a barrier to keep moisture in your skin. It helps other ingredients make their way into your skin. Liquid paraffin prevents moisture loss from the outer layer of skin.

Some simple tips to manage dry skin are drinking plenty of water to keep your body hydrated, avoiding hot water baths, using sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) or wearing protective clothing whenever stepping outside, avoiding harsh scented soaps, and moisturizing the skin immediately after bath. Also, consult your doctor, who can help diagnose if you have any underlying medical conditions causing dry skin.
Itching is one of the common symptoms of dry skin which gets worse as your skin gets drier. This leads to the ‘itch-scratch’ cycle where you constantly scratch to get rid of the itch and it just causes more itching. Scaling, cracking, and peeling of the skin are the other common symptoms. The cracking may be severe in some cases leading to bleeding.
Yes, drinking too much alcohol can cause dehydration. When you are dehydrated on the inside, less water is available to moisturize your skin, leading to skin that appears rough and flaky and is more prone to sensitivity and itching.
Yes, stress can be a major factor in defining your skin condition. It can make your skin worse and look older than your age.
