Cover exposed skin or use a sunblock (SP 15 or higher) whenever you step outside in the sun following treatment with Melanocyl Ointment.
Do not use perfumes, aftershave, deodorants or other cosmetics and toiletries while using this medicine as they make your skin even more sensitive.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of melanoma or certain other types of skin cancer.
