Migrellium-Pro Capsule should be taken on empty stomach, but try to have it same time regularly at a fixed time preferably at night. Migrellium-Pro Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevents migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).

In which conditions is the use of Migrellium-Pro Capsule contraindicated?
Use of Migrellium-Pro Capsule is considered to be harmful for patients with allergy to any of the ingredients or excipients of this medicine. This medicine contains propranolol, so its use should be avoided in patients with asthma, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, or heart conditions like AV block or sick sinus syndrome. Since this medicine also contains flunarizine, the use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with the history of depression or Parkinson's disease.

No, Migrellium-Pro Capsule does not help in relieving a migraine headache that has already started. It can only be used for preventing any new episode of migraine headaches.
