How Neo Hepatex Injection works

Neo Hepatex Injection is a combination of two medicines: Liver Extract and Thiamine(Vitamin B1). Liver Extract is given as an iron supplement and works by stimulating the production of red blood cells. While Thiamine(Vitamin B1) acts as a coenzyme for the carbohydrates metabolism and provides the essential nutrients to the body. Together they increase the number of liver cells.

  • Neo Hepatex Injection is used for the treatment of various liver diseases.
  • Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy, and every 6 months thereafter.
  • You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Neo Hepatex Injection.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning.
  • Avoid fatty food, take a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
