So, a sore throat can sometimes be the first clue that Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet is affecting the bone marrow. Your sister should contact her doctor and get a blood test. If a blood test shows her white blood cell count to be normal, then she can continue Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet. If not, she should stop the treatment after consulting the doctor.
The effectiveness and side effects of Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet in children are more or less the same as in adults. Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet should not be used in children less than 2 years of age.
