Nore-T Tablet is a prescription medicine that can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Tinidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Nore-T Tablet?

The use of Nore-T Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to norfloxacin or tinidazole or any other excipient present in the medicine. It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons) or tendon rupture caused because of the use of ciprofloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the quinolone group of antimicrobial agents. It is also avoided in patients with some neurological disorders.

Can I drink alcohol while taking Nore-T Tablet?

No, avoid drinking alcohol while taking Nore-T Tablet and for at least 3 days after the dosage is completed. Drinking alcohol while taking this medicine may cause an unpleasant reaction (Disulfuram like reaction) with symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing or redness of the face.

Can I take ORS solution with Nore-T Tablet?

Yes, you can take ORS (oral rehydration salts) with Nore-T Tablet. ORS is a special combination of dry salts that is mixed with clean drinking water. It can help restore the fluids lost due to diarrhea. ORS packets or solution can be availed from the nearest pharmacy, shop or from our website.
