Product introduction

Norper Suspension is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, taste change, weakness, restlessness, and tremor. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

  • Norper Suspension helps relieve vomiting and acidity.
  • This medicine will only be prescribed for a short period (no more than five days) and your doctor may want to check on your progress afterwards.
  • Drink plenty of water while taking Norper Suspension.
  • Do not take Norper Suspension at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines as it may interact with other medicines.
  • Avoid taking soft drinks, citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion.
  • Incorporate the folowing lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity:
    1. Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water.
    2. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food.
    3. Lose weight if you are obese.
    4. If you are a smoker, consider giving up.
    5. Don't drink too much alcohol.
    6. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
