Nupenta CP Capsule SR is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Take Nupenta CP Capsule SR exactly as directed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. To prevent heartburn and acid indigestion, take it 30-60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages as that can lead to indigestion. Follow all directions as advised.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when the stomach acid frequently flows back into the esophagus (the tube which connects your mouth and stomach). This backwash (acid reflux) can irritate the lining of your esophagus. Symptoms include chest pain usually after eating, which might be worse at night, and difficulty in swallowing.
Speak with your doctor if you conceive or plan on conceiving while taking Nupenta CP Capsule SR. Some studies have shown that it is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it may harm the fetus.
No, alcohol is usually avoided while taking Nupenta CP Capsule SR as it may increase the acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe (esophagus) causing heartburn (painful burning in chest). This would decrease the effect of this medicine and can aggravate your existing condition.
