This combined medication is best taken with food to reduce side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. However, for some conditions, such as arthritis, it may take up to two weeks to get the full benefit and you may need to take it for a long time. You should take this medicine regularly while you do need it; try not to miss doses as it will become less effective. Medicines used to treat pain are usually best taken at the first sign of pain.

It very rarely causes side effects if it is used correctly but this combined medicine may cause heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, and indigestion. You can reduce the chances of getting any side effects by using the minimum dose you need. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor straight away, even if you feel well because too much paracetamol can cause liver damage.

Yes, the long-term use of Nuprin Plus Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protect the kidneys from damage. Use of painkillers can lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body, leading to kidney damage when used for long-term. Therefore, the use of painkillers is not recommended in patients with underlying kidney disease.

An overdose of Nuprin Plus Tablet can increase the risks of side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion and diarrhea.
