Oleanz Plus Tablet

Oleanz Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, muscle rigidity, restlessness, tremor, delayed ejaculation, anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), and low sexual desire. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.

Before taking Oleanz Plus Tablet, inform your doctor if you are suffering from thyroid or kidney disease, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, glaucoma, or any heart disease. You should not take this medicine if you are under the influence of alcohol or any sleep-inducing, cough, and/ or allergy medication. You should avoid alcohol while taking Oleanz Plus Tablet, as it may worsen certain side effects.

Oleanz Plus Tablet can also lead to weight gain, eat a healthy balanced diet, avoid snacking with high-calorie food, and exercise regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.

• Bipolar depression

• You have been prescribed Oleanz Plus Tablet for the treatment of bipolar disorder with depression.
• Take it in the evening as it can make you feel sleepy.
• It may take 4 to 6 weeks to experience the full benefits of the medication.
• Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
• It may cause increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy and exercise regularly.
• Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts.
• You have been prescribed Oleanz Plus Tablet for the treatment of bipolar disorder with depression.
• Take it in the evening as it can make you feel sleepy.
