Olomin Eye Drop gives rapid relief from symptoms of allergic eye disease such as redness, swelling, itching and watering of eyes. It also helps soothe the eyes and reduces burning sensation. You can use Olomin Eye Drop twice a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

How to use Olomin Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

How Olomin Eye Drop works

Olomin Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines. Olopatadine is a histamine antagonist that reduces allergic symptoms. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic. It blocks the chemical messenger which causes itching and other allergic symptoms. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning, also moisten the eyes.

Quick tips

  • Olomin Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of allergic eye disease.
  • It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
