Origus gm Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and bone and joint injuries (fracture). It reduces pain and swelling by reducing inflammation. It also reduces friction in the joints and makes physical movements more comfortable and pain free.

Product introduction

Origus gm Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.

Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, urine discoloration, and heartburn. If you experienced any such side effects that does not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Treatment of Bone and joint Fracture
Origus gm Tablet offers improved pain relief, reduced inflammation, and potential preservation of joint health in patients with bone and joint injuries such as fracture. However, one should remember that this medicine can beneficial, it may not cure the underlying conditions and should be used under the guidance of a doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Some early researches suggest that the presence of glucosamine in this drug might worsen insulin resistance which can lead to an increase in blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. So, it is important that you inform your doctor if have diabetes. But now, according to recent studies it has been seen that even though glucosamine is a type of sugar, it does not appear to affect blood sugar levels or insulin sensitivity. However, it is advised to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
You may need to take Origus gm Tablet for four to six weeks before you notice any improvement. If your symptoms do not improve by that time, then it is advisable for you to talk to your doctor about other ways of managing your arthritis.
Yes, people taking blood-thinning medicines, such as warfarin, should talk to their doctor before taking Origus gm Tablet as it may increase the risk of bleeding.
Keep this medicine in the packet or the container it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
According to some recent studies, it has been found that using Origus gm Tablet has been linked with increased ocular pressure (IOP) in patients with a history of ocular hypertension. This is due to the presence of glucosamine in this medicine. However, it is advised to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
