Product introduction

Ortholix AC Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, and heartburn. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Arthralgia (joint pain)
Arthralgia is a condition with pain and stiffness in the joints that causes difficulty in movement. Ortholix AC Tablet helps in reducing this pain and stiffness. It also reduces swelling in the joints. Altogether, it helps in easy movement. Ortholix AC Tablet if taken at the start of symptoms of arthralgia might prevent further damage of the joints. This will help you do your daily activities more easily and thus improve your quality of life. Ortholix AC Tablet should be taken at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. You should continue taking it until your doctor asks you to stop.

How Ortholix AC Tablet works

Ortholix AC Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Diacerein which relieve muscle and joint pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator which blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps in the building of cartilage (the soft connective tissue in the bones near the joints) in the body.

  • Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Ortholix AC Tablet as it can increase your risk of stomach problems.
