Product introduction

Paindoz Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe for you. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Common cold
Paindoz Tablet is a combination medicine that effectively relieves symptoms of the common cold, such as a blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier.

Paindoz Tablet is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

How Paindoz Tablet works

Paindoz Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Magnesium Trisilicate which relieve cold symptoms. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach.

Quick tips

  • Paindoz Tablet is used to get relief from the symptoms of common cold.
  • Do not take Paindoz Tablet with any other medicine containing (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
  • Stick to simple meals and avoid fatty or spicy foods to avoid nausea after taking Paindoz Tablet.
  • Along with taking Paindoz Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
    1. Steam inhalation.
    2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
    3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
    4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
    5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcase, etc.
  • Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
