Pansoral Gel is strictly advised for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only on the affected areas of the mouth. It should not be used in excess amount and also avoid swallowing it. In case of accidental contact with your eyes, rinse it off with plenty of water.

Mouth ulcers are small painful sores on inner lips, gums, tongue, roof of the mouth or throat. It may cause difficulty in eating, drinking and even talking. Pansoral Gel is a treatment for fast, effective relief of pain from mouth ulcers. It also reduces redness, swelling, promotes healing of the ulcers and prevent infection. It is advisable to reapply Pansoral Gel after every 3-4 hours for better results.

Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
How Pansoral Dental Gel works
Pansoral Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Cetalkonium Chloride.Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Cetalkonium Chloride is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and fungi, preventing the mouth ulcer from getting infected. This speeds up healing of the ulcer.
Quick tips
- Pansoral Gel is used to treat painful mouth ulcers.
- Using a clean finger to massage the gel onto the sore area, not more than once every 3 hours.
- Avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying Pansoral Gel.
- Avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth.
- Use a soft toothbrush after consulting your dentist.
- Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps) which can make the pain and sting worse.
- Do not smoke while using Pansoral Gel as it might cause some side effects.
- Consult your doctor if your pain does not improve after using this medication for 7-14 days, or if your symptoms get worse.
