How to use Parexel Drop

How Parexel Drop works

Parexel Drop is a combination of two medicines: Diazepam and Dicyclomine. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Quick tips

  • Parexel Drop helps relieve abdominal cramps and pain.
  • It is generally recommended that you take Parexel Drop when you notice the first sign of pain.
  • Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
  • If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
