Permite 5 % Cream

Your doctor will explain how to use Permite 5 % Cream and how much you need. Read the instructions that come with the medicine to make sure you use it correctly. Your skin should be clean, dry, and cool before using it. Your whole body should be washed thoroughly 8-14 hours after you have used this medicine. Most people only need to use it once to treat their condition but, if a second application is needed, wait at least 7 days. Sometimes itching may last for a few weeks after treating scabies. This is probably an allergic reaction to dead mites and not a sign that the treatment has failed.

The most common side effects include mild burning, stinging, or tingling where the medicine is applied. Most side effects are usually mild and not everyone gets them.

Before using it, let your doctor know if you have any skin conditions or allergies to medicines, food, or other substances, or if you have asthma. Though this medicine is generally thought to be safe, you should ask for your doctor’s advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Permite 5 % Cream is an antiparasitic medication. It works by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs, which cause scabies. It also kills head lice which attach to your scalp and irritate it.
