Product introduction

Use Prostium E 0.06% Gel in the exact way as instructed by your doctor or mentioned on the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Even if your symptoms improve, you should continue the treatment as it has been prescribed. Do not stop using the medicine until the full course is completed.

The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, flatulence, and breast pain. These usually go away if you continue using it. Tell your doctor if you have bleeding in your vagina. Your doctor may give you an alternative medicine.

Before using this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs. Once you have started using this medicine you should have regular check-ups to discuss the benefits of your treatment. It should not interact with any other medicines but it is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Your doctor usually prescribes the lowest possible dose of Prostium E 0.06% Gel. This medicine is applied to an unbroken, clean, and dry skin. Allow the skin to dry completely before covering with a cloth. Wash your hands with soap and water after applying this medicine. Use this medicine only as advised by your doctor. Do not use more than you have been advised.
You may apply the missed dose as soon as you remember unless you are not 12 hours late. If you are more than 12 hours late, then skip the missed dose and follow the usual dosing schedule.
