Qucold Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.
Using this medicine may cause nausea, difficulty in sleeping (insomnia), palpitations, increased heart rate, and restlessness. If you experience any such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.

How to use Qucold Tablet

How Qucold Tablet works
Qucold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Caffeine and Phenylpropanolamine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.

- Qucold Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
- Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
- Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
- Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
- Along with taking Qucold Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
- Steam inhalation.
- Gargling with warm saltwater.
- Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
- Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
- Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
