Benefits of Rabishield Injection
Rabies is a serious disease caused by a virus that is usually transmitted through the bite of an infected animal such as a stray dog. Rabishield 100IU Injection helps protect those individuals who either have been bitten by a suspected rabid animal (dog, cat, monkey, rabbit, etc.) or are at a higher risk of getting this disease (veterinarians, animal handlers, rabies laboratory workers, etc.). It is given only by a doctor or a nurse and should not be self-administered. The bulk of the medicine is injected in and around the bite wound and any leftover medicine is injected into a muscle.
