How to use Relestat Ophthalmic Solution
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Quick tips
- Your doctor has prescribed Relestat Ophthalmic Solution to treat inflammation (redness and swelling) due to allergies of the eye.
- It treats short-term or sudden allergic reactions in the eye.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
- Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
- Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.

The Relestat Ophthalmic Solution should be instilled in the affected eye(s) with one drop twice daily. The duration of treatment with Relestat Ophthalmic Solution will depend upon the disease condition, its severity, and the response of the patient to the treatment. The medicine can be given for as long as four months, if considered necessary. However, the exact duration is decided by your doctor.
